Ladies Night Review
This past week SGC held a special event for our wonderful customers, specifically the ladies. Besides the usual wine tastings and special sales, we collaborated with some of our friends to really make the night special!
Imagine the smell of fresh cut apples, caramelizing with cinnamon cakes! That is what the whole gourmet food area smelled like! Tim Foley from Bit of Swiss Bakery joined us and performed a wonderful cooking demonstration of caramelized apples. I eventually got a taste at the end of the night and they were delicious!
The pampering continued with relaxing hand massages from Maureen Luxem with Crabtree & Evelyn. She demonstrated two of C&E’s highly regarded products; hand recovery and hand therapy and gave out free samples of these lotions. For the whole two hour event, Maureen had someone at her table!
We also had gourmet food samplings, and an herb and fall bulb workshop in the greenhouse. One of our own employees was giving information and tips on how to plant bulbs and what you can do with herbs! The most exciting part for some was the giveaways! We had several wonderful prizes on display and a lot of entries to win! The winners were notified on Saturday and they were all very happy to be so lucky!
All of us at Sawyer Home & Garden Center would like to thank everyone who came and enjoyed the evening with us. Also all those who were involved and helped make the night special. If you missed this years “Ladies Night” don’t worry, there will be more event like this in the future!
