Christmas Open House Review

Sigh, another Christmas Open House has come and gone! Thank you to everyone who came to share the Holiday spirit with us. I had a wonderful time visiting with customers and even more fun on the radio!

In case you missed it here is what happened at our Christmas Open House Extravaganza!

Cindy Haughey, our wine expert, shared tastings of one of our fine wines, and Maureen Luxem with Crabtree and Eveyln gave relaxing hand massages to customers. Out in gormet, Paula Dickman with Southwestern Michigan Buttery shared samples of her delicious butters, while Dylan and I talked about all the fun activites on Radio Harbor Country.

We always have a great slection of prizes to giveaway! This year included an Indy Fruit Basket, a couple Yankee Candles and some Stonewall Kitchen gift sets! One of the many representatives that joined us for the weekend was Jim Sidari and his wife from Stonewall Kitchen. They gave out samples of the sea salt carmel and chocolate sauces! The “Big Guy” himself took the time out of his busy schedule to stop by Sawyer Garden Center, and visit with the kids. Of course, he came bearing gifts and treats for the kids. Another spectacular ice carving happened in our pavillion. Vance Price stopped by and carved a block of ice into a cute ice skating penguin.

The weekend was a holiday success! We couldn’t have done it without the regular customers, our dedicated employees and enthusiastic representatives. Don’t worry if you missed the big weekend, we still have awesome sales going on now until Chrismtas so stop by and see us soon!

Happy Holidays!
